Abstract: There are a lot of different operations in transformation process from fiber to garment. Sewing is the last stage of this process and sewing machine is the most important tool in this process. In terms of competition in the market, the machines have to be optimal level in speed, price, energy consumption etc. subjects which will be purchased. Therefore, Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis Method (MOORA) is used in this paper which is one of the newest multi objective/criteria decision making methods and attained results were compared with Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) after that optimal machine was selected. © 2015 Ege Universitesi.
