Vortex spun yarn is one of the flourishing spinning technology among other traditional and non traditional spinning technologies. As one of the new technology, it is still on the phase of intensive technological improvement and academic works. As one additional contribution to the vortex spun yarn studies this paper involves with the 100% cotton vortex spun yarn properties. In the content of the experimental study three different number of yarns (Ne 20, Ne 30 and Ne 40) produced with three different levels of (4 kgf/cm2, 4.5 kgf/cm2, 5 kgf/cm2) nozzle pressure. The manufactured yarn samples are then evaluated considering their visual aspect, hairiness, evenness, imperfections, and tensile properties. Obtained results are found attributable to the previous experimental works.en_US
