Recently, the “Anarchist Islands Model” has been proposed as a political conceptualization although it includes a geographical term. It offers a method for the current state of affairs. It is based on a statement on complexity science paradigms. Chaotic Awareness Simulation (CAS) theory coincides with the Anarchist Islands Model when it construes people’s imaginations, considerations, and behaviors in the context of ethics. In this article, as an example of efforts in claiming values in dictionaries implied in the Anarchist Islands Model, we focus on the story of the Turkish word “müsait”/available for Anarchist Islands. This word is described with a meaning of women who flirt with somebody in the dictionary of the Turkish Language Institution (TDK) (tdk.gov.tr). Some of the citizens began a campaign claiming that this word should be withdrawn from the dictionary. At the end of this campaign, TDK declared formally that the meaning of “müsait” is not the same in the new issue of the dictionary. Both TDK and other dictionaries declared formally their meanings. So, we observe the change; some citizens want not only to squat in urban areas (Gezi Park) but also protect their values. © 2018, Springer International Publishing AG, part of Springer Nature.en_US
