Abstract: In this study, analytical stress analysis of annular rotating discs made of functionally graded materials (FGMs) subjected to uniform thermal loads were performed at different temperatures. The elasticity modulus and thermal expansion coefficient of the discs that has constant Poisson's ratio were assumed to vary radially according to power law functions. A gradient parameter 17 was chosen between (-0.5) and (+0.5). The change of the stresses, displacements, elasticity modulus and thermal expansion coefficient with respect to the gradient parameter n were investigated and presented in the paper. It was found that the disc became isotropic disc when n equals to zero.
