Abstract: It is widely known that male and female have different personalities. When these differences are not ignored, problems experienced in mutual relations are no longer seen. This study focuses on how male and female view marriage by analysing “Happy End” by Kurt Marti. The reasons for the problems encountered in marriage are addressed by integrating the ideas of various researchers, psychologists, and sociologists on male and female psychology. Expectations of males and females from marriage are listed and the possible consequences of marriages shaped in accordance with psychological needs are portrayed.
