Mesleki ve teknik anadolu lisesi öğrencilerinin öğrenme stilleri ve benlik gelişimi açısından akran kıyaslaması: Denizli örneği

Abstract

Çalışmanın temel amacı, Denizli'deki mesleki ve teknik Anadolu lisesi öğrencilerinin öğrenme stilleri ile benlik saygısı düzeylerini belirlemektir. Bu çalışmanın bir diğer amacı, öğrenme stillerinin ve benlik saygısının işgücü piyasasına giriş üzerindeki kolaylaştırıcı etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre; öğrenme stilleri ile okul türleri ve öğrencilerin yaşları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Buna karşı, öğrenme stilleri ile cinsiyet ve sınıf düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır. Araştırmanın benlik saygısı bulgularına göre; öğrencilerin benlik saygısı düzeyleri ile okul türleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur. Kadınların benlik saygısının, erkeklere göre daha düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir. 8. sınıftaki 13 yaş grubu öğrenciler ile 12. sınıftaki 17 yaş grubu öğrenciler arasında benlik saygısı puanları açısından anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu sonucuna ulaşılırken; diğer yaş grupları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin benlik saygısı düzeyleri ile annenin çalışma durumu arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin benlik saygısı düzeyleri ile ailelerin toplam geliri ve en uzun süre yaşanan şehir arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Okul dışında zamanının çoğunu cep telefonu, internet, bilgisayar oyunları ile geçirdiklerini söyleyenlerin benlik saygısı düzeyleri; adı geçen faaliyetleri yapmayanlara göre anlamlı şekilde daha düşük çıkmıştır.

The main aim of the study is to determine the learning styles and self-esteem levels of vocational and technical Anatolian high school students in Denizli. Another aim of this study is to examine the facilitating effect of learning styles and self-esteem on entry to the labor market. According to the results of the study; a meaningful difference was found between learning styles and school types and age of students. However, no meaningful difference was found between the learning styles and gender and grade levels. According to the findings of the study self-esteem; it was found that there was a meaningful difference between self-esteem levels and school types. Women's self-esteem was found to be lower than men. While it was concluded that there is a meaningful difference in terms of self-esteem scores between the students 8th class in the age group 13 and the 17 age group in the 12th grade; it was concluded that there was no meaningful difference between the other age groups. A meaningful difference was found between the self-esteem levels of the students and the mother's working status. It was determined that there was no meaningful difference between self-esteem levels of students and total income of families and longest lived cities. Self-esteem levels of those who say that they spend most of their time outside of school with mobile phones, internet and computer games; these activities were meaningfully lower than those who did not.
