Ses temelli cümle yöntemini uygulayan birinci sınıf öğretmenlerinin yöntem hakkındaki görüşleri ve öğrencilerin okuma yazma becerilerini değerlendirmeleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı Denizli il ve ilçe merkezlerinde görev yapan ilköğretim birinci sınıf öğretmenlerinin ?Ses Temelli Cümle Yöntemi?ne ilişkin görüşleri ve bu görüşlerin cinsiyet, mesleki kıdem, kadro durumu, mezun olduğu okul, yüksek lisans durumu, birinci sınıf tecrübesi, sınıf mevcudu ve il - ilçe değişkenlerine göre farklık gösterip göstermediğini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2005-2006 öğretim yılı ikinci yarıyılında il ve ilçe merkezlerinde görev yapan 176 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin analizinde ortalama, standart sapma, t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi, korelasyon ve tukey HSD gibi tekniklerden yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre aşağıdaki sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. 1. Denizli il ve ilçe merkezlerinde görev yapan öğretmenlerin ses temelli cümle yöntemine ilişkin görüşleri 3.66 ortalama ile ?katılıyorum? düzeyindedir. 2. Denizli il ve ilçe merkezlerinde görev yapan ilköğretim birinci sınıf öğretmenlerinin ses temelli cümle yöntemi uygulamasına ilişkin görüşleri mesleki kıdem, mezun olunan okul ve birinci sınıf tecrübesine göre farklılık göstermektedir. 3. Öğretmenler yöntemle ilgili en önemli sorun olarak ailelerin yöntem konusunda bilgilendirilmesi ve evde yapılacak çalışmalarda bu doğrultuda hareket etmeleri gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir. 4. Birinci sınıf öğretmenleri yöntemin öğrencinin okuma yazma becerisine ilişkin ?katılıyorum düzeyinde görüş belirtmişlerdir. 5. Ses temelli cümle yönteminin uygulanması için rehber olan kılavuz kitap ve seminerlere ilişkin alt boyutun 3.76 ortalama ile ?katılıyorum? düzeyindedir.

The purpose of this study is to determine the views of the first grade primary school teachers about ?phonetic-based sentence learning? and whether these views differ significantly according to variables of gender, seniority, the staff condition, the school graduated, the graduate degree, experience of first class, class popularityand center district. The sample of the study consists of 176 teachers working central and district school during 2005-2006 second term of academic education year in Denizli. The 42 item scale developed by the researcher was administrated to the subjects as data collection instruments. The data has been analyzed by using the techniques such as average, standart deviation, the t-test, the one way (anova) variance analysis, correlation and tukey HSD. The following results have been reached according to findings: 1. The views of teachers about ?phonetic-based sentence learning? have been found ?I agree? level with 3.66 average. 2. There is significant difference among first grade teachers? views about the implementation of method according to the variables of seniorit, school graduated and first class experience. 3. First grade teachers indicate that families should also be trained about the method and homeworks should be done according to this. This is the most important matter with the dimension of problems. 4. First grade teachers? views about the contrubition of the method to the skills of students? literacy have been found ?I agree? level. 5. The dimension of the teacher ook and seminars about the method have been found ?I agree? level with 3.76 average.
