Eski Mezopotamya’da kehanet kültürü ve Anadolu’daki yansımaları

Abstract

Tezimiz, Mezopotamya toplulukları tarafından kullanılan kehanet yöntemlerinden bahsetmektedir. Bunun yanında Mezopotamya kehanetlerinin Hititler’e etkisine de değinilmiştir. Eski Yakındoğu, geleceği bilme kaygısı ve çevresinde oluşan garip durumların sebeplerini araştırmak için bir takım yöntemler geliştirmiş ve bunları kullanmışlardır. Tanrılar tarafından gönderilen bu işaretler kehanet olarak adlandırılmıştır. Mezopotamya kehanetleri ise, Anadolu toplumu olan Hititler tarafından da kullanılmıştır.

Our thesis mentions the omen methods that is used by Mesopotamian people. Apart from this, it is touched on the effects of corresponding omens to the the Hittites. The Ancient Near East develops several practices to investigate the reasons of the anxiety of predicting the future and the weird events that take place within the scope of it and utilize these means. It is called as omen, the symbols sent by the Gods. Mesopotamian omens are used by the Hittites which is the Anatolian habitants.
