dc.description.abstractIn this paper, four sarcophagi which are erected in Olympus Necropolis, is introduced. First examined that Olympus sarcophagus where was found by the Antalya Rescue excavations in Olympus ancient city and transformed to the Antalya Museum that is belonged to the Sidamara Sarcophagus Group. The Sidamara Sarcophagus which was erected into the monumental tomb building that is belonged to the Lykiarkh Markus Aurelius Arkhepolis and his family. It is understood that the family was the élites of Olympus city from both Sidamara Sarcophagus and its inscriptions and also the half-produced with garland sarcophagus. The second relief sarcophagus which belonged to Antimakhos and his family is found in East Necropolis of Olympus. The local produced sarcophagus lid is Lycia Type which was uncommon in Olympus. The third sarcophagus was found in South Necropolis and belonged to Aur. Artemias. The inscriptions of the sarcophagus is interesting because informed that the Hephaistos Temple in Olympus and also Zeus Olympios. It is only fist time encountered with Zeus Olympios Cult among the inscriptions and epitaphs in Olympus city however the researchers have discovered an inscriptions which dedicated to Zeus Olympios in an ancient settlement in Musa Mount. Both inscriptions where found in Olympus and Musa Mount, referenced to the asset of Zeus Olympios cult, are important. The last sarcophagus is discovered in the east of the Large Bath in September 8 2002. Both lid and chest is broken.en_US
