Denizli’de yerel gazetecilik alanı: Mekanizmalar, işleyiş ve stratejiler

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Denizli kenti özelinde yerel gazetecilik alanındaki işleyişi, mekanizmaları ve alandaki stratejileri ortaya çıkarmak hedefiyle oluşturulmuştur. Bu hedefin gerçekleştirilmesi için çalışma, hem alan içindeki faillerin birbirleriyle ve alanla olan ilişkileri hem de alanın dışındaki sosyal, siyasal, ekonomik oluşumların yerel gazetecilik alanına ve alandaki faillere yönelik etkileri doğrultusunda iki boyutlu olarak ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca medya alanının her geçen gün yenilenen bir alan olması nedeniyle, bu doğrultuda Denizli’deki yerel gazetecilik alanında tarihsel süreçte yaşanan değişim ve dönüşümler ortaya konulmuştur. Çalışmanın rotası, pratik düzlemde faillerin kendi görüşleri, teorik düzlemde ilişkisel teori ve Bourdieucü perspektifin yardımıyla belirlenmiştir. Bu yönüyle çalışma hem teorik hem de pratik izleklerin bir arada bulunduğu nitel bir saha çalışması olma özelliğini taşımaktadır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde araştırmanın yöntem ve tekniklerine yönelik bilgiler verilirken, ikinci bölümünde teorik alt yapısı oluşturulmuştur. Bu bölümde ilişkisel sosyal teori ve Bourdieu’nün kavramsal repertuarı ve gazetecilik alanına yönelik yaklaşımları ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde yerel gazetecilik alanına yönelik çeşitli teorik ve teknik bilgiler verilmiş, akabinde alanın inşası amacıyla iç yapı ve dış yapısına yönelik malumatlara ve Denizli yerel gazetecilik alanının tarihsel serüvenine değinilmiştir. Çalışma analizlerine yer verilen dördüncü bölümde araştırma, görüşme soruları aracılığıyla faillerin bireysel verileri, alanın iç yapısı ve alanın dış yapısı şeklinde üç farklı temaya ayrıştırılarak birbirleriyle olan ilişkisellikleri düzleminde yorumlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda Denizli kentindeki yerel gazetecilik alanının profili tüm yönleriyle ortaya konulmuştur.

This study aims to reveal the functions, mechanisms and strategies in the field of local journalism in Denizli city. In order to achieve this aim, the study dually deals with both the relations of the agents in the field with each other and the field; and the effects of the social, political and economic formations outside the field on the local journalism field and on the agents in the area. In addition, due to the fact that the media field is a renewed field every passing day, the changes and transformations experienced in the historical process in the field of local journalism in Denizli are presented accordingly. The route of the work is determined in practical plane with the own perspectives of the agents and in theoretical plane with the relational theory and with the help of the perspectives of the Bourdieu. In this respect, this study is a qualitative field work in which both theoretical and practical perspectives exist together. In the first part of the study, necessary information is given about the methods and techniques of the research and in the second part the theoretical sub-structure is established. In this section, relational social theory and Bourdieu's conceptual repertoire and approaches to journalism are discussed. In the third part, varied theoretical and technical information about the local journalism field is given and then the information about the internal structure and the external structure of the field and the historical development of Denizli local journalism is mentioned. In the fourth chapter, which deals with the study analyzes the research that is divided into three different themes as the individual data through interview questions, the internal structure of the field and the external structure of the field is interpreted in their relational plane. As a result of the study, the profile of the local journalism field in Denizli city is revealed in all aspects.
