Öğretmen adaylarının bilime yönelik tutumlarının bazı psiko-sosyal değişkenlerle ilişkisi

Abstract

Egitim modern yasamın gelecegi için önemlidir. Günümüz okulları fen egitiminde basarısızdırlar. Fen Bilgisi egitimindeki yetersizlikte önemli determinantlardan biri de bilime yönelik düsük tutumdur. Bu arastırmada Fen Bilgisi Ögretmenligi ve Sınıf Ögretmenligi programlarında ögrenim gören ögretmen adaylarının bilime yönelik tutumları karsılastırılmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak gelistirilen ``Uluslararası Bilim Ölçegi '' kullanılmıstır. Arastırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre: -Ögretmen adaylarının okudukları bölüm, sosyo-ekonomik düzeyleri, anne-babalarının egitim düzeyleri, ailesinin ve kendisinin siyasal tercihi, yasanılan yer, kendisini sosyal ve zihinsel açıdan algılamaları ile bilime yönelik tutumlarında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıstır. -Ögretmen adaylarının ögretmenlige yönelik tutumu ile bilime yönelik tutumlarında, bilimin degeri ve zorluk boyutlarına yönelik olarak p<.05 düzeyinde anlamlı bir fark bulunmustur.

Education important for the future of modern life. Today schools are fail at science education. One important determinants of insufficiency at science education is law attitudes toward science. This research compared to science teacher and primary teacher program?s student (n:162) attitudes toward science. As data gathering tool, developed, ``Internatıonal Science Quastinare Scale ?? is used. According to the results obtained from the research: -There is no significant difference between the teacher trainees according to the subject they study, their socro-economic levels, parents education levels, their parents and their own political opinions, their perception of themselves socially and mentally and their attitudes toward science. -There is a significant difference between the teacher trainees according to their opinions about being a teacher; their attitudes toward science, their ideas about the value and about the difficultres of the science.
