Galatlar üzerine bir inceleme ve Kâmûs-i Türkî’de Galatlar

Abstract

Dilin değişim-dönüşüm süreçleri dil bilgisi açısından ses bilgisi, biçim bilgisi, söz dizimi ve anlam bilimi düzeylerinde meydana gelmekte, diğer taraftan da ilişkide bulunulan yabancı dillerden sözcük ve söz dizimsel unsurlar başta olmak üzere alıntılar yapılmaktadır. Ayrıca yabancı dillerden alınan unsurların, dilin kendi dil bilgisel yapısına uydurulduğu da bilinmektedir ve bu bir anlamda onların orijinal yapılarının bozulması anlamına gelmektedir. Diğer taraftan, sözcüklerin ses veya anlam yapılarında değişimler gerçekleştiği, yeni yeni biçim bilgisel ve söz dizimsel yapıların ortaya çıktığı durumlar da gözlenmektedir. Bu noktada ise bir taraftan dilde yeni biçimler ve sistemler ortaya çıkarken, diğer taraftan bu yeni oluşumlar dilin eş zamanlı görünümüne göre o dilin mevcut kurallarının dışında kalmaktadır. Böylece değişen biçim ile özgün biçim arasında ve kurallara uygun üretilmiş biçim ile kuralların dışında üretilmiş biçimler arasında bir doğruluk-yanlışlık ikilemi oluşmaktadır. Bu da dilin o dönemi açısından dil yanlışlarını, dilsel yanlışlıkları ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Bu yanlışlıklar, Osmanlı Türkçesi için, dönemin aydınları tarafından galat terimiyle ifade edilmiştir. Bu çalışma dilin değişim-dönüşümü açısından galat unsurları ele almakta, Kâmûs-ı Türkî’deki galat unsurlardan hareketle genel olarak Osmanlı Türkçesinde ortaya çıkmış galat oluşumların modellerini ortaya koymaya çalışmaktadır. Bunu yaparken de galat unsurların hem çeşitliliklerini tespit edip belirtmekte, hem de dilin değişim-dönüşüm sürecindeki işlevlerini farklı boyutlarıyla ele almaktadır. Çalışmanın son bölümünde ise Kâmûs-ı Türkî’de yer alan galatların bulundukları maddelere göre alfabetik dizinine yer verilmiştir.

Change-transformation processes of the language occur at the level of phonetics, morphology, syntax and semantics in terms of grammar. On the other hand, quotations are made from the foreign languages related to them, especially words and syntactic elements. It is also known that the elements quoted from foreign languages are adapted to the linguistic structure of the language itself, and in a sense this means that their original structures are disrupted. On the other hand, it is observed that there are changes in the sound or semantic structures of the words and new formative and syntactic structures emerge. At this point, on the one hand new forms and systems appear in the language, on the other hand these new formations are out of the existing rules of the language according to the simultaneous appearance of the language. Thus, there is a dilemma of truth and error between the changing form and the original form and between the form produced according to the rules and the forms produced outside the rules. This reveals linguistic mistakes and linguistic mistakes in that period of language. These mistakes were expressed by the intellectuals of the period whit term galat for Ottoman Turkish. This study deals with the galat elements in terms of the change and transformation of the language, and tries to reveal the models of galat formations that have emerged in Ottoman Turkish in general. In doing so, Galat not only identifies and specifies the diversity of elements, but also handles the functions of language in the process of change and transformation with different dimensions. In the last part of the study, the galats in Kamus-ı Turki are divided into alphabetical directories according to the substances contained.
