Hastane çalışma koşullarının alt işveren çalışanlarında oluşturduğu stres ve etkileri

Abstract

20. yüzyılın hastalığı olan stres, birçok alanda yaşanan hızlı değişimlerin ürünüdür. Bireyler, bu değişimlere uyum sağlamakta zorlanmakta ve bu zorlanma sonucunda hem bireyde hem de örgütlerde, maddi ve manevi olumsuzluklar ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada; hastane ortamında alt işverene bağlı olarak çalışanların stres faktörünün belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, Pamukkale Üniversitesi hastanelerinde çalışan alt işveren çalışanları üzerinde yapılmıştır. Ankete 182 kişi katılmış; stres genel puanlarına 175 kişi yanıt verdiğinden, değerlendirme bu puanlar üzerinden yapılmıştır. Araştırmada Mayerson'un stres kaynağı ölçeği, verilerin değerlendirilmesinde ise istatistik paket programı kullanılmıştır. Veri toplanmasındaki anket soruları üç gruptan oluşmaktadır: Birinci grup kişilerin sosyodemografik özellikleri, ikici grup çalışma ortamının özellikleri, üçüncü grup ise işçi sağlığı ve güvenliği hizmetleridir. Anket 25 sorudan oluşmaktadır. Stres kaynağı puanlarının, anket soruları ile değerlendirilmesinde şu sonuçlar ortaya çıkmıştır: Bekârların stres puanları evlilerden daha yüksek olup çocuk sayısı arttıkça stres puanı düşmekte, eğitim düzeyi artıkça stres puanları artmaktadır. Temizlik görevini yapan işçilerin stres puanları düşük, sekreterlik görevini yapanların ise stres puanları yüksektir. Maaşını zamanında alamayanların, farklı görevlerde çalıştırılanların ve uygun fiziksel koşullara sahip olmayanların stres puanları yüksek çıkmaktadır. Stress, the illness of 20th century, is an output of the rapid development in many areas. Individuals confront with coercion while adapting themselves to these developments and due to this coercion, both an individual and organizations face with moral and physical problems. The use of implementation of sub-employer which is a new organization technique in health sectors generates the idea that the stress of individuals work with this technique would be high. In this study it was aimed to determine the stress factors of subcontracted workers affiliated with sub-contractors at hospitals. This study was employed with subcontracted workers at Pamukkale University Hospitals. 182 participants were involved in this study and 175 of them were evaluated as only these participants answered the stress general points. Mayerson?s Stress Factor Measurements were used to get the data. SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciencer) was used to analyze the data. The questionnaire was consisting of 3 groups. The first group was including questions for socio-demographic properties, the second group was including questions for working properties and the last group was including questions about workers health and safety services. The questionnaire was including 25 questions. The results of the study indicated that the unmarried subcontractors? stress point was higher than married subcontractors. Stress point decreased based on the increase in the number of children. The stress point increased due to high education level. The stress point for workers working as a cleaner was low whereas that for subcontractors working as a secretary was high. The stress point increased when workers work in different positions, could not get their salaries on time and could not be in suitable physical conditions.
