Yüksek Lisans Tezi olarak haz!rlanan Eski Ön Asya Toplumlar!nda Kölelik Müessesesi isimli çal!)mam!zda Eskiça* Mezopotamya ve Anadolu toplumlar!nda en alt s!n!f! olu)turan insan grubu olan kölelerin toplum içerisindeki yeri ortaya konulmaya çal!)!lm!)t!r. Bu amaçla kanunlarda kölelere verilen haklar, bunun aksine verilen cezalar ve efendi köle ili)kisi üzerinde etrafl!ca durulmu)tur. Burada birinci kaynaklar!m!z! çivi yaz!l! belgeler olu)turmu)tur. Ayr!ca bu konuda haz!rlanm!) olan çal!)malardan da istifade edilmi)tir.

In our study titled ?Slavery Institution in Ancient Asia Minor Societies? prepared as graduate thesis, the position of slaves within the society, founding the lowest class in Ancient Mesopotamia and Anatolian societies, has been investigated. For this, the rights given to slaves, in contrast, the punishments given and the relationship between slaves and masters have been focused in detail. Here, our main resources are made up of cuneiform documents. Additionally, the studies made in this area are also benefited from.
