Abstract: In this study, a solution algorithm making Intensity-Duration-Frequency (IDF) analysis with Composite Differential Evolution is proposed. For testing the proposed algorithm, the weight parameters of different mathematical and statistical relationships are determined by using the Standard Duration Maximum Rainfall (SDMR) data from 32 meteorological stations operated by MGM located in the Aegean Region and the performances of the obtained relationships are investigated according to various error measures. Additionally, cluster analysis is made by using fuzzy c-means method and the region is divided into 6 subregions. Regional IDF relationships are obtained for the determined regions and the performances of the regional relationships are compared with the obtained results. The comparisons Show that the regional relationships produce results very close to the points relationships.
