Denizli'de kadına yönelik şiddet konusunda evli çiftlerle niteliksel bir çalışma

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Denizli kenti özelinde evli çiftlerin kadına yönelik şiddet konusundaki algılarının ve tutumlarının neler olduğunu ortaya çıkarmak hedefiyle oluşturulmuştur. Bu hedefin gerçekleştirilmesi için evli çiftlerle kadına yönelik şiddet ve toplumsal cinsiyet ile şiddet arasındaki ilişkiyi anlamaya yönelik görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın teorik kısmında toplumsal cinsiyet kuramları, feminist kuramlar, sosyo-kültürel ve biyolojik-psikolojik kuramlardan destek alınmıştır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde araştırmanın konusu, önemi, kapsamı ve yöntemine değinilmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde ise kavramsal ve kuramsal anlamda teorik kısımlar ele alınmış üçüncü bölümünde de Dünya’da ve Türkiye’de kadın hareketinin gelişimi ve kadına şiddeti önlemeye yönelik yasal düzenlemeler ve sosyal politika uygulamalarına değinilmiştir. Çalışmanın son bölümünde uygulanan görüşme tekniği aracılığıyla çiftlerin bireysel görüşleri, yetiştikleri aile ilişkileri, hali hazırdaki evlilikleri, ev içi sorumluluklar, şiddet, namus ve kadınlara yönelik gerçekleştirilen yasa ve kanunlar hakkındaki tematik sorulara verilen cevaplar, kuramsal-kavramsal çerçeve gözönünde bulundurularak yorumlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda örneklemimiz örneğinde Denizli kentindeki evli çiftlerin kadına yönelik şiddet ve toplumsal cinsiyet algıları tüm yönleriyle ortaya konulmuştur.

This study aims to reveal the perceptions and attitudes of married couples about violence towards women in Denizli city. To achieve this goal, interviews were held with married couples to understand the relationship between violence towards women and gender and violence. In the theoretical part of the study, a great support was taken from gender theories, feminist theories, socio-cultural and psychological theories. In the first part of the study, the aim, significance, setting and methodology of the study theoretical and theoretical parts are discussed, In the second part of the study, theoretical and theoretical parts are discussed, and in the third part, the development of women's movement in Turkey and the world are discussed in line with legal regulations and social policies and practices, In the final part, through interview questions, individual opinions of couples, family relations, opinions on their marriages, domestic responsibilities, violence, honor and their awareness on laws and laws regarding women are categorized and discussed by taking into consideration the theoretical and theoretical framework of the study. As a result of the study, the perceptions and attitudes of married couples about violence towards women in Denizli city are revealed.
