Pandemi sürecinde ilköğretim öğrencilerinin dijital bağımlılığına ilişkin öğretmen görüşleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı; pandemi sürecinde ilköğretim öğrencilerinin dijital bağımlılıklarına ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerini incelemek ve ortaya çıkacak veriler üzerinden bir değerlendirme yapmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, araştırma tarama modelinde yürütülmüş olup nitel veri toplama yöntemlerinden görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu; 2020/2021 eğitim öğreti yılında Denizli merkezindeki Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı ilkokullarda görev yapan 25 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan ve danışman desteğiyle geliştirilen beş soruluk görüşme formu, bu çalışma grubuna uygulanarak gerekli veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin betimsel analizleri yapılarak, tema başlıkları ve kodlar oluşturulmuş ve bulgular yorumlanarak sonuca ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında ulaşılan sonuçlara göre; dijital bağımlılığın oluşmasında dijital kültür, dijital oyunlar ve pandemi tedbirleri etkili olmuştur. Dijital bağımlılık öğrencilerde psikomotor beceriler açısından obeziteye, uyku sorunlarına, göz bozukluğu ve duruş bozukluklarına yol açmaktadır. Psikolojik açıdan şiddet eğilimi ve öfkeye, kaygı ve strese, korku ve yalnızlığa neden olmaktadır. Sosyal açıdan iletişim sıkıntılarına, akademik başarıda düşüşe ve sosyal yabancılaşmanın ortaya çıkmasına yol açmaktadır. Dijital bağımlılığın önlenebilmesi için toplumsal bilincin oluşması ve öğrencilere gerekli yönlendirmelerin yapılması gerektiği sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

The aim of this study; The aim is to examine the views of teachers on digital addictions of primary school students during the pandemic process and to make an evaluation based on the data that will emerge. For this purpose, the research was carried out in the scanning model and the interview technique, one of the qualitative data collection methods, was used. The study group of the research; In the academic year of 2020/2021, 25 classroom teachers working in primary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the center of Denizli were formed. The five-question interview form created by the researcher and developed with the support of the consultant was applied to this study group and necessary data were collected. Descriptive analyzes of the obtained data were made, theme titles and codes were created and the results were obtained by interpreting the findings. According to the results of the research; digital culture, digital games and pandemic measures are effective in the formation of digital addiction. Digital addiction causes obesity, sleep problems, eye disorders and posture disorders in terms of psychomotor skills in students. Psychologically, it causes violence and anger, anxiety and stress, fear and loneliness. Socially, it leads to communication difficulties, a decline in academic achievement, and the emergence of social alienation. In order to prevent digital addiction, it was concluded that social awareness should be created and necessary guidance should be given to students.
