In this study, a new Schiff base ligand LH containing fluorescent thiazolo[5,4-d]thiazole group, which was first determined to show biological activity, later found a place in many application areas such as semiconductor polymer derivatives, organic field-effect transistors and solar cells were synthesized. Complexes of the ligand with Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) salts were prepared and the compounds were characterized. For the synthesis of Schiff base ligand LH; in the first step, N1 compound was derivatized with salicylaldehyde N-(3-bromopropyl)phthalimide, then the thiazolo[5,4-d]thiazole derivative N2 was synthesized from the reaction of the obtained product with dithioxamide. The N3 compound containing the amine group was synthesized by reduction of N2. Schiff base ligand LH obtained from the reaction of N3 with salicylaldehyde. Metal complexes were synthesized from the reaction of the ligand with the acetate salts of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II).The structures of the synthesized ligands and complexes were characterized by FT-IR, LC-MS-MS, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, UV-vis. Fluorescence Spectrophotometer analyzes of the ligand and magnetic susceptibility measurements of the complexes were made.en_US
