Abstract: In this work, a new DDCC+ based mixed-mode quadrature oscillator (QO) topology is proposed. The proposed QO circuit consists of three DDCC+s, two floating resistors, two grounded resistors and two grounded capacitors. When compared to the other DDCC based QOs in literature, the proposed DDCC+ based QO circuit in this work possesses the advantages of more basic internal structure, lower power dissipation and lower power supply voltages. Furthermore, oscillation frequency and oscillation condition of the proposed QO can be controlled orthogonally. Some simulations through SPICE program are carried out. Also, an experiment is achieved for the proposed QO by using AD844s so as to show the performance of it.
