Abstract: In this paper, a new quadrature oscillator (QO) and a new lossless grounded inductor simulator (LGIS) are proposed. The proposed QO uses only one negative-type modified differential voltage current conveyor (MDVCC-) with single Z terminal, two resistors and two grounded capacitors. The proposed LGIS employs only one MDVCC- with single Z terminal, two resistors and one grounded capacitor. However, the proposed LGIS requires a single passive component matching condition. Furthermore, a band-pass filter application is derived from the proposed LGIS. A number of simulations based on SPICE program and an experimental test are accomplished in order to demonstrate the performance of all the circuits. (C) 2017 Elsevier GmbH. All rights reserved.
