Unlike traumatic splenic rupture, spontaneous (atraumatic) splenic rupture is a rare and life- threatening condition. In the present study, a case who was admitted to the emergency depertment with complaints of abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting was diagnosed as spontaneous rupture of spleen.
