Abstract: The most prominent of the men in Mongolian history is definitely Chinggis Khan. His son Juchi died while Chinggis was still alive. The borders of the Juchi nation, a legacy of Juchi, was broadened by the Khans of the Golden Horde, primarily by Juchi's sons Batu and Berke. Even though Juchi presented a weaker profile comparing to his brothers, his intelligence and farsightedness placed him in a critical position in Chinggis' victories. Juchi's place in Chinggis' mind is quite noticable. It is clear in the sources and also in an onomastic analysis of his name that Chinggis accepted Juchi as his real son.
