dc.description.abstractNon-infectious diarrhea. Diarrhea is a common finding in critically ilipatients, whatever the initial cause ofadmission into the intensive care unit. Although several riskfactors have been identified, the pathogenesis, incidence and management of diarrhea in critically ili patients are loosely defined. Enteral tube feeding is often blamed for causing diarrhea. Etiology, diagnosis and management ofnon infectious diarrhea in intensive care unit have been reviewed in this article.en_US
