This condition occurs in adults and adolescents of both sexes. It is rarely seen in elderly individuals. The cause and the pathogenesis are unknown. A 26 year old man with a history of facial papular eruption for 6 months duration is diagnosed as LMDF and treated with isotretinoin with a good clinical outcome. |
