RESULTS: Comparation of grandmultiparous and nongrandmultiparous group îevealed no statistically significant difference between the rates in these groups regarding diabetes, preterm labor, antepartum or postpartum haemorrhage, operative vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections and, neonatal morbidity and mortality. The rate of hypertensive disorders during pregnancy in the grandmultiparous group was significantly greater than the one in the nongrandmultiparous group. CONCLUSION: Grandmultiparae who attend and delivered in a modern tertiary care center are not exposed to increased risk.
