Geçmişten günümüze Hatay’da din, bilim ve felsefe

Abstract

Bu çalışma, tarih boyunca önemli bir toplumsal, siyasi ve dinî yaşam alanı olan, Hatay’da din, bilim ve felsefenin gelişimini genel hatlarıyla bir nebze olsun ışık tutmayı hedeflemektedir. Bu çalışmada Hatay’ın ev sahipliğini yapmış olduğu medeniyetlerin dini inançları, bilimsel çalışmaları ve felsefeye verdikleri önem ele alınıp incelenmiştir. Hatay, geçmiş dönemlere rol model olmuş bir kent olarak bir statüye sahiptir. Birçok medeniyete başkentlik yapmış olan Hatay, bilimsel çalışmalara, düşünürlere ve din alimlerine ev sahipliği yapmıştır. Bu çalışmada öncelikle Hatay’ın genel tarihi üzerinde durulmuştur. Hatay’da din bilim ve felsefenin gelişimini ortaya koyabilmek için tarihi kronolojiye bağlı kalarak Hatay’da iz bırakmış tüm medeniyetlerin inanç sistemi üzerinde durulmuştur. Antik çağ pagan inançları üzerinde ve ağırlıklı olarak Yahudi, Hıristiyan ve Müslüman topluluğu detaylı bir şekilde durularak, bizzat bu üç dine mensup kişilerle temasa geçilerek ele alınmıştır. Hatay’ın bilim dünyası açısından bilgilerin taşıyıcısı olduğu üzerinde durulup, Hatay’daki bilim insanları ile birlikte açıklanmıştır. Hatay’daki felsefe çalışmaları, filozoflar, filozofların görüşleriyle birlikte İslam dünyasına etkisi ele alınmıştır. Sonuç olarak, din, bilim ve felsefe disiplinlerinin Hatay’daki ilişkisi ele alınmıştır. Çalışmamız, kaynak kitaplardan ve kaynak kişilerden yararlanılarak hazırlanmıştır.

This study, aims to shed some light on the development of religion, science and philosophy in Hatay, which has been an important social, political and religious life area throughout history. In this study, the religious beliefs, scientific studies and the importance they gave to philosophy of the civilizations that Hatay hosted were examined. Hatay has the status of a city that has been a role model from past to present. Hatay, wich has hosted many civilizations, has hosted scientific studies, thinkers and religious scholars. In this study, first of all, the general history of Hatay is emphasized. In order to reveal the development of religion, science and philosophy in Hatay, the belief system of all civilizations that have left their mark in Hatay has been emphasized by adhering to the historical chronology. The ancient pagan beliefs and predominantly Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities are discussed in detail by contacting the people who belong to these three religions. It is emphasized that Hatay is the carrier of information in terms of the scientific world, and it is explained together with the scientists in Hatay. Philosophiy studies in Hatay, their effects on the Islamic world are discussed together with the views of philosophers. As a result, the relationship of religion, science and philosophy disciplines in Hatay is discussed. Our study has been prepared by making use of source boks and source persons.
