Turizm endüstrisinde yeşil enerji kullanımı üzerine bir inceleme

Abstract

Günümüz dünyasında sürdürülebilirlik kavramı hayatın her alanında yer edinmeye başlamış olup turizm sektörü için de uygulanmaya başlamıştır. Enerji maliyetleri, 7/24 yaşayan bir endüstri olan turizm endüstrisi için işletme giderlerini artıran bir kalemdir. Turizm özelinde enerji giderlerini azaltmak önemli bir konu haline gelmiştir. Sürdürülebilirlik kavramının içeriğinden dolayı turizm endüstrisinde yenilenebilir enerji kullanımı hem çevreye olan katkısı hem de enerji giderlerini azaltması yönünden oldukça önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı turizm endüstrisi için enerji maliyetleri ve sürdürülebilirlik kavramları doğrultusunda turizmde yenilenebilir enerji kaynağı kullanımı ve enerji maliyetlerinin turizm işletmelerinin gelirlerine olan katkısı Türkiye literatürü taranmaya çalışılarak araştırılmaya çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, yenilenebilir enerji kaynak ve kullanımının belirli bir düzeyin altında olduğu ve turizm endüstrisi için ilgili kaynağın kullanımının gerekli olduğu yönündedir. Çalışmanın daha detaylı alan yazın taramasıyla desteklenerek (genişletilerek) turizm endüstrisine, politika yapıcılara ve alan yazına katkısının daha fazla olacağı düşünülmektedir.

In today's world, the concept of sustainability has started to take place in all areas of life and has started to be applied for the tourism sector. Energy costs are an item that increases operating expenses for the tourism industry, which is an industry that lives 24/7. Reducing energy costs has become an important issue in tourism. Due to the content of the concept of sustainability, the use of renewable energy in the tourism industry is very important in terms of both its contribution to the environment and reducing energy costs. The aim of this study is to investigate the use of renewable energy sources in tourism and the contribution of energy costs to the incomes of tourism enterprises in line with the concepts of energy costs and sustainability for the tourism industry, by scanning the literature. The findings are that the renewable energy resource and use are below a certain level and the use of the relevant resource is necessary for the tourism industry. It is thought that the study will contribute more to the tourism industry, policy makers and literature by supporting (expanding) with a more detailed literature review.
