dc.description.abstractThe two algorithms are proposed to perform the A/D and D/A conversions automatically and fast, by using the derived conversion matrices for the arbitrary sampling period T. The first algorithm provides the conversion from s-domain to z-domain, A/D conversion, and the second one is used to perform the conversion from z-domain to s-domain, D/A conversion, for a given rational TF. These algorithms are very simple and fast, and do not involve any matrix inversions to derive the related system TFs. They are particularly useful in the conversions of higher order transfer functions and their common feature is that the sampling interval T can be chosen arbitrarily.en_US
