The proposed GCM contains a canonical number of components, a single inverting CFOA (ICFOA), a grounded capacitor and two resistors. It has low THD and power consumption. Moreover, its operating frequency range is from about 1 Hz to 30 kHz. A second-order active filter circuit including two ICFOAs and two grounded capacitors is given as an application example. Some simulations via the SPICE program are performed.
