Abstract: Carcinoid tumors (CTs) develop from neuroendocrine cells and are usually located in the gastrointestinal tract or bronchopulmonary system. Cutaneous involment of CT is rare and is often of pulmonary origin. Information about CT skin metastasis is based on case reports. It usually occurs as a multiple nodules after diagnosis of the primary tumour. Treatment options for skin lesions include surgical excision, CO2 laser, opioid analgesics, somatostatin and electrocauterization. We present a case of atypical CT skin metastasis.
