Fen bilgisi öğretmenleri ile fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının etkili fen öğretimi ile ilgili görüşleri

Abstract

Bu araştırma ilköğretim fen bilgisi öğretmenlerinin ve fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının etkili fen öğretimi ve öğretmeninin özellikleri ile ilgili görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin ve öğretmen adaylarının, görüşlerinin bilinmesiyle, ilköğretim fen programlarının uygulanması ve fen bilgisi öğretmeni eğitimine öneriler getirilmesi planlanmıştır. Araştırma başlangıcında literatür taraması yapılmış ve veri toplama aracı olarak fen bilgisi öğretmenlerine ve öğretmen adaylarına yönelik olarak bir anket hazırlanmıştır. Bu anket formu öğretmen adaylarının Etkili Fen Öğretimi ve Etkili Fen Öğretmeninin özelliklerine ilişkin görüşlerini belirttikleri açık uçlu ve kapalı uçlu sorular içermektedir. Araştırmaya Denizli il merkezinde görev yapan 50 fen bilgisi öğretmeni ve Pamukkale Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Bölümü Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalı dördüncü sınıfta öğrenim gören 90 öğretmen adayı katılmıştır. Anket formundaki maddeler ile ilgili güvenirlik ve geçerlik çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olduğu görülmüştür. Anketin alfa değeri 0,91'dir. Anket formundaki kapalı uçlu maddelerin faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Açık uçlu sorulara verilen cevaplarda kategorilere ayrılarak içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Öğretmen ve öğretmen adaylarının maddelere vermiş olduğu cevapların frekans, yüzde ve ortalama dağılımları verilmiştir. ANAHTAR KELİMELER: Etkili Fen Öğretimi, Etkili Fen Öğretmeni

VI The purpose of this study is to investigate perceptions of primary school science pre- service teachers' views about characteristics of effective teaching of science and effective science teacher. It was intended to make suggestions about applying primary school' science program and about education of science teachers according to the views of in-service and pre-service science teachers. In order to explore in-service and pre-service science teachers' views about characteristics of effective science teaching and effective science teacher a questionnaire was developed by the researcher with regard to related literature. The questionnaire consists of open-ended and close-ended questions. The sample of this study was composed of 50 in-service science teachers in the center of Denizli and 90 fourth grade students of Faculty of Education and department of primary science education in Pamukkale University. Reliability analysis and Factor Analysis were conducted to analyze questionnaire form. It was found that the questionnaire was a valid and reliable with the alpha reliability coefficients of 0,91. Responses that were given open-ended questions were analyzed by categorized. The responses of in-service and pre-service science teachers according to items were given as frequency, percentage and means. KEY WORDS: Effective science teaching, Effective science teacher
