Göçmenlerde yoksulluk yansımaları: Denizli örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada yoksulluğun olgusal varlığının yoksulluk kültürünü pekiştirip pekiştirmediğini göçmenlerin yaşadığı Denizli özelinde gerçeklenmeye çalışılmaktadır. Bu anlamda bu çalışmanın kapsamı Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi ve Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nden Denizli'ye gelen göçmenler ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Daha özelde Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi ve Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nden Denizli'ye göç sürecinin başlangıcından beri bu çalışmanın evrenini oluşturan göçmenlerin yaşam koşullarındaki değişim düzeyi tespit edilmekte ve buna bağlı olarak yoksulluğun ne ölçüde bir kültür haline dönüştüğü sorgulanmaktadır.Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi ve Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nden gelip Denizli'de yaşayan göçmenler üzerine yürütülen bu çalışmanın en önemli bulgularından biri, parasızlık, işsizlik, düşük ücret, vasıfsız işleri de içeren ekonomik yetersizliğin yoksulluk kültürünü pekiştiren başat faktörler olduğudur. Bu çalışmanın bir başka bulgusu ise Denizli'de yaşayan göçmenlerin gelecekleri ile ilgili umutsuz olmamalarıdır.

Either the reality of poverty strenghten the culture of poverty or not has been tried to test in the case of Denizli in which migrants living in this study. In this sense, the extrent of this study limited with migrants who come from Eastern and South-eastern part of Turkey to Denizli. In special, change level of living conditions of migrants, who consist of the universe of this study as regard moving throughout beginning process of migration from Eastern and Southestern part of Turkey to Denizli has been defined and therefore to which extend poverty becomes as culture has been examined.One of the most important findings of this study carried out over migrants coming from eastern and southeastern part of Turkey and living in Denizli is that the main factors strenghtened the culture of poverty are inadequacy of economy, including lack of money, unemployment, low-wage, unskilled jobs. And the other finding of this study is that migrants living in Denizli is not hopeless about their future.
