dc.description.abstractAmaç: Bu araþtýrmanýn amacý, Týp fakültesi birinci sýnýf öðrencileri ile altýncý sýnýf öðrencilerini tükenmiþlik riski açýsýndan karþýlaþtýrmak, uzun ve zorlu bir süreç olan týp eðitiminin ve ilk kez hasta-hekim iliþkisinin yaþandýðý son sýnýf yýllarýnýn tükenmiþlik geliþimine olan etkisinive bunun kiþilik özellikleriyle baðlantýsý olup olmadýðýný ortaya koymaktýr. Yöntem: Týp Fakültesi Dönem 1 öðrencilerinden 30 ve Dönem 6 öðrencilerinden 30 olmak üzere onam veren toplam 60 öðrenci çalýþmaya dâhil edildi.Tüm katýlýmcýlarýn sosyodemografik bilgileri alýnarak, her birine Maslach Tükenmiþlik Envanteriile A Tipi Davranýþ Testi uygulandý. Bulgular: Dönem 6 öðrencilerinin Maslach Tükenmiþlik Envanteri duygusal tükenmiþlik alt ölçeði ortalamasý Dönem 1 öðrencilerinden yüksekti. Kiþilik davranýþý açýsýndan iki grup karþýlaþtýrýldýðýnda; A ve B tipi kiþilik davranýþý daðýlýmýnýn iki grupta da benzer olduðu belirlendi. Sonuç: Bu çalýþmada, yapýlan diðer çalýþmalarla benzer olarak son sýnýf öðrencilerinde tükenmiþlik düzeyi artmaktadýr. Bizim çalýþmamýzda, son sýnýf intörn öðrencilerinde A tipi kiþilik sayýca fazla bulunsa da bu fazlalýk istatiksel olarak anlamlý düzeye ulaþmamýþtýr. Ayrýca kiþilik tipi ile tükenmiþlik düzeyi ve kiþisel baþarý duygusu arasýnda herhangi biristatistiksel iliþki de izlenmemiþtir.-
dc.description.abstractObjectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the differences of the risk of burnout in medical students between the first year and last year which students first experience both physician-patient relationship and so long, so challenging medical course process. Method: A cross-sectional study was carried out in a sample of 60 medical students which were randomly selected and gave informed consent. Thirty students (50%) were in the first year and 30 were (50%) in the sixth year of training using sociodemographic data form, Maslach Burn out Inventory and A type personality test. Results: Maslach Burnout Ýnventory emotional exhaustion subscale was higher at last year medical students than the first year students. About personality behaviour; when two groups compared, no significant differenceswere found in each groups. Conclusion:In this study, burnout levels was higher at the last year medical students as previous studies had done before. In our study, although type A characteristics were numerously higher, it was not significant statically. Further more we did not find any relationship between personality characteristics in terms of type A and type B and burnout levels or sense of personel accomplishment.-
