Individuals may choose to get a consumer loan from banks in order to meet some of their needs. Each bank applies different criteria during the process of consumer loan rating. In this study, an expert system software was developed to evaluate the result of a loan application by using the simplification of logical functions method based on 10 different criteria which are generally accepted in the evaluation of loan applications. This study was tested via the Australian Credit Data Set and a success rate of 80.72% was achieved thanks to the data in the data set.en_US
