Abstract: Each language has a dialect that changes due to local differences, or rather a dialect used by a part of the people. Turkey Turkish is extremely rich in terms of dialects. The presence of dialect studies has been of great benefit, in research based on sound equivalence. Because dialects contain archaic features. This study proposes a new equivalence. In particular, the k~s sound equivalence, the phases of these sounds from past to present, and their equivalents are given by taking into account the phonetic, morphologic and semantic characteristics at the word level. In the study, although it can be more diversified, the sound equivalences which found by scanning Türkçe Sözlük (The Turkish Dictionary), Tarama Sözlüǧü (The scanned text Dictionary) and Türkiye Türkçesi Aǧizlari Sözlüǧü (The Dictionary of Turkey Turkish Dialects) have been tried to be revealed. © 2022 Hacettepe University 1.
