La présentation des éléments culturels du niveau A2 dans le manuel "Le Nouveau Taxi 2"

Abstract

When teaching a language, you cannot ignore the culture of that language. On the other hand, it is not possible to transfer all the elements that make up the foreign language’s culture during the course and with the course material. Textbooks are undoubtedly one of the most important materials in cultural transfer. In order for foreign language teaching to be an effective cultural transfer tool, the texts of the textbooks should be chosen consciously. In fact, one of the main aims of language teaching is the acquisition of cultural skills in accordance with the criteria of the Common European Framework (learning-teaching-evaluation). In this study, we tried to emphasize to what extent the book “Le nouveau Taxi 2 Methode de Français” contains cultural elements. As a result, this material is designed to significantly contribute to learners' learning of A2 level French with its interesting visuals, up-to-date content and contemporary lines.
