Bir manevi danışma merkezi olarak mescit

Abstract

Gençlerimiz bizim için çok kıymetlidir, çünkü onlar geleceğimizdir, bu nedenle çocuklarımıza, gençlerimize çok daha özen göstermemiz, onları sosyal medyanın ve çevrenin zararlarından korumamız gerekmektedir. Bu konuda, sadece sorunları ortaya koyan değil, çözüm odaklı çalışmaların yapılması lazımdır. Gençlerimize dinî değerleri öğretilmeli ve sevdirilmelidir. Onları, dinlerini öğrenebilecekleri yerlere özellikle de camilere yaklaştıracak yollar geliştirilmelidir. Peygamber Efendimiz (sav), namazların bir arada kılınmasına çok önem veriyordu ve sahabelerini bu konuda teşvik ediyordu. Peygamberimizin mescidi Mescid-i Nebevi, çok sade bir mimariye sahipti ama içerisi mü’minlerle dolup taşıyordu. Mü’minler her türlü işlerini burada yapıyorlardı. Namazlar burada kılınıyor, toplantılar yapılıyor, yardımlar dağıtılıyor, önemli kararlar burada alınıyordu. Ülkemizde çok büyük, güzel, gösterişli camiler var ama maalesef bu camiler sadece bayram namazlarında ve cuma namazlarında dolmaktadır. Mescid-i Nebevi bu sade mimarisiyle bu kadar önemli işlevi olan bir mescid iken, neden bugünkü mescid/camiler böyle boş; neden çocuklar, gençler camilerden uzak durmaktadır? Çocukları ve gençleri camiye yaklaştırmak için neler yapılabilir? 2023 yılının yaz tatilinde 13 yaşında olan oğlumu Kur'an kursuna göndermek istedik. Mahallemizdeki camide Kur'an kursuna gitmeye çok heveslendi. “Anne cami hocası halı sahaya götürüyormuş, maç yapıyormuş gençlerle” diye çok mutlu oldu ama sonradan öğrendik ki o kurs, küçük çocuklara yönelikmiş, oğlum gidemedi ve bütün yaz tatilini elinde tabletle geçirdi. Aslında mescid/camiler, çocukların ve gençlerin sadece yaz tatilinde Kur’an-ı Kerim öğrenmek için gittikleri yerler olmamalıdır. Amacımız, hayatlarının her anında çocuklarımızı ve gençlerimizi camii ile bir arada tutmaktır. Günümüzde gençlerin gittiği yerlere dikkat ettiğimizde spor salonları, halı sahalar, futbol kursları, müzik kursları, kafeler, bilardo salonları vb. yerler olduğunu görüyoruz. Acaba gençlerin sevdiği bu aktiviteleri yapan yerlerle camiler aynı yerde olamaz mı? O zaman gençler camilere daha istekli gitmezler mi?” İçinde spor kurslarını, müzik kurslarını, dikiş nakış kurslarını bir araya getirebileceğimiz, kütüphanesi, kafeteryası olan, gençlerin hem dinlenebileceği hem de eğlenebileceği, manevi olarak da faydalanabileceği, kafasına takılan soruları manevi danışmanlara sorabileceği, Kutsal Kitabını öğrenebileceği, tefsir ve hadis derslerine katılabileceği namazlarını kılabileceği bir cami yapılamaz mı? Bu düşünceden hareketle hepsinin bir arada olduğu bir cami projesi tasarladık.

Our young people are very valuable to us, because they are our future, so we need to take more care of our children and young people and protect them from the harms of social media and the environment. In this regard, solution-oriented studies need to be carried out, not just revealing the problems. Religious values should be taught to our youth and they should be made to love them. Ways should be developed to bring them closer to places where they can learn their religion, especially mosques. Our Prophet gave great importance to performing prayers together and encouraged his companions in this regard. The Masjid al-Nabawi, the mosque of our Prophet, had a very simple architecture, but it was filled with believers. Believers were doing all their work here. Prayers were performed here, meetings were held, aid was distributed, important decisions were made here. There are many large, beautiful and flashy mosques in our country, but unfortunately these mosques are only filled during Eid prayers and Friday prayers. While Masjid an-Nabawi is a masjid with such an important function with its simple architecture, why are today's masjids/mosques so empty? Why do children and young people stay away from mosques? What can be done to bring children and young people closer to the mosque? We wanted to send my 13-year-old son to a Quran course during the summer vacation of 2023. He was very enthusiastic about going to the Quran course at the mosque in our neighborhood. He was very happy, saying, "Mom, the mosque teacher was taking the young people to an astroturf field and playing matches with the young people." But later we learned that the course was for young children, my son couldn't go and spent the whole summer vacation with a tablet in his hand. In fact, masjids/mosques should not be places where children and young people go only to learn the Quran during the summer holidays. Our aim is to keep our children and young people together with the mosque at every moment of their lives. When we pay attention to the places where young people go today, we see gyms, astroturf pitches, football courses, music courses, cafes, billiard halls, etc. We see that there are places. I wonder if mosques and places that offer these activities that young people love can't be in the same place? "Won't young people go to mosques more willingly then?" It has a library and a cafeteria, where we can bring together sports courses, music courses, sewing and embroidery courses, where young people can both rest and have fun, benefit spiritually, ask their questions to spiritual advisors, learn the Holy Book, attend tafsir and hadith classes, and perform their prayers. Can't a mosque be built? Based on this idea, we designed a mosque project that brings them all together.
