Abstract: | In this paper, a new fully CMOS four-quadrant multiplier based on plus-type second-generation current conveyors (CCIIs) is presented. The proposed circuit employs only two CCIIs and two NMOS transistors as active devices, without the need for any external passive elements. Functionality of the new circuit is demonstrated through SPICE simulations performed using 0.25m CMOS process technology parameters. In addition, simulation results of an amplitude modulator realized with the proposed multiplier are included. © 2011 IEEE. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/11499/5856 https://doi.org/10.1109/CCECE.2011.6030557 |
