TİP 1 diyabette hipoglisemi korku ölçeği (HKÖ): Çocuk ve ebeveyn formunun geliştirilmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Tip 1 Diyabetli Çocuklarda Hipoglisemi Korku Ölçeği’nin Çocuk ve Ebeveyn Formunun geliştirilmesi, geçerlilik ve güvenilirliğinin değerlendirilmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmanın evreni Pamukkale Üniversitesi Hastanesi Çocuk Endokrin Polikliniği’nde tip 1 diyabet tanısı ile takip edilen 6-12 yaş arasındaki çocuklardan ve ebeveynlerinden oluşmaktadır. Örneklemi ise 200 çocuk ve 200 ebeveynden oluşmaktadır. Veriler 1 Mart 2023-28 Şubat 2024 tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır. Ölçeğin kapsam geçerliliği 10 uzman görüşüne başvurularak değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde sayı/yüzde, test tekrar test, Cronbach Alfa katsayısı ve faktör analizi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Ölçeğin Çocuk Formunun Cronbach Alfa değeri 0,92; dört alt boyutunun Cronbach Alfa değerleri sırasıyla 0,95 (fiziksel); 0,87 (ailesel); 0,84 (bireysel); 0,90 (sosyal)’dır. Ölçeğin Ebeveyn Formunun Cronbach Alfa değeri 0,90; üç alt boyutun Cronbach Alfa değerleri 0,85 (korku); 0,90 (endişe); 0,83 (müdahale)’tür. Test tekrar test puan ortalamaları arasında fark bulunmamıştır (p>0,05). Ölçeğin çocuk formunun ICC değeri 0,98; ebeveyn formunun ICC değeri 0,99 olarak bulunmuştur. Açıklayıcı faktör analizi çocuk formu, toplam varyansının %72,26’sını; ebeveyn formu ise %59,25’ini açıklamaktadır. Ölçeğin çocuk ve ebeveyn formunun her ikisininde CFI, NFI, TLI değerleri>0,90; RMSEA değerleri<0,080; X2/sd değerinin<2 olduğu bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Yapılan analizler ve değerlendirmeler sonucu Tip 1 Diyabette Hipoglisemi Korku Ölçeği: Çocuk ve Ebeveyn Formu’nun geçerlik ve güvenirliği yüksek bulunmuştur.

Aim: Development of the Child and Parent Form of the Hypoglycemia Fear Scale in Children with Type 1 Diabetes and evaluation of its validity and reliability. Materials and Methotds: The universe of the study consists of children between the ages of 6-12 who are followed up with a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes in Pamukkale University Hospital Pediatric Endocrinology Polyclinic and their parents. The sample consists of 200 children and 200 parents. Data were collected March 1, 2023-February 28, 2024. The content validity of the scale was evaluated by consulting 10 experts. Number/percentage, test-retest, Cronbach alpha coefficient and factor analysis methods were used in the analysis of the data. Results: The Cronbach alpha value of the Child Form of the scale is 0,92; the Cronbach Alpha values of its four subscales are 0,95 (physcial); 0,87 (familial); 0,84(individual); 0,90 (social). The Cronbach Alpha value of the Parent Form of the scale is 0,90; the Cronbach Alpha values of the three subscale are 0,85(fear); 0,90 (anxiety); 0,83 (intervention). No difference was found between test-retest score averages (p>0,05). The ICC value of the child form of the scale was found to be 0,98 and the ICC value of the parent form was found to be 0,99. Exploratory factor analysis showed that the child form explained 72,26% of the total variance, while the parent form explained 59,25%. It was found that CFI, NFI, TLI values were>0,90 and RMSEA values were<0,080 and X2/sd value was<2 for both the child and parent forms of the scale. Conclusion: As a result of the analyses and evaluations, the validity and reliability of the Hypoglycemia Fear Scale in Type 1 Diabetes: Child and Parent Form was found to be high.
