dc.description.abstract | Maintaining the quality standards of medicinal plants is crucial for their continued existence. This study looked at the subsurface and aboveground components of the Lilium martagon L. species, which is found in Kazakhstan and Turkey, as well as the physical and chemical properties of the soil in the distribution regions of the species. The roots and shoots of the Lilium martagon L. plant were used to identify macro and micro elements in addition to testing soil samples for pH levels, calcium carbonate (CaCO3), electrical conductivity (EC), sand, the amount of organic matter, and mineral elements. As per the examination, Kazakhstan’s soil is somewhat alkaline, less calcareous, lacks salt, has a medium amount of organic matter, and is rich in minerals. Turkey’s soil, on the other hand, has an acidic medium, less lime, and no salt. The subsoil mineral content of Lilium martagon L. species growing in Kazakhstan and Turkey was examined and N, K, Zn, and Cu elements were not different in the subterranean portions of the samples from the two countries, while there was a variation in the elements Mg, P, Ca, Fe, Mn, and B. On the other hand, while there was a difference in terms of Mg, Ca, Mn, Zn and B elements among the aboveground parts, no difference was found in terms of N, K, P, Fe and Cu elements. The plants in the study revealed no overt indications that their high concentrations changed their metabolism, even though it was discovered that several microelements were over limit levels. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024. | en_US |
