Abstract: Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a condition characterized by spontaneous pain, allodynia, hyperpathy and hyperalgesia affecting one or more extremities. CRPS-1 is the type which was seen without nerve injury, generally develops after soft tissue traumas, fractures, tendon ruptures and surgical procedures. CRPS-1 is seen usually at the side of injured extremity, however it is seen rarely at contrlateral or multipl extremities. In this case presentation bilateral CRPS-I development after bilateral distal radius fracture which was rarely encountered was described. Copyright © 2010 by Türk Tibbi Rehabilitasyon Kurumu Derne?i.
