Abstract: In this study, a total of 13 schizophrenic patients and 13 healthy controls were evaluated with fNIRS. The purpose was to measure oxyhaemoglobin and deoxyhaemoglobin concentrations from both groups to support "hypofrontality" hypothesis in schizophrenics patients. © 2007 Optical Society of America.
