Abstract: Poly (Trimethilene Terephtalate) (PTT), which is an elastic aromatic polyester, can be dyed with disperse dyes at atmospheric conditions without the need of carriers due to its low glass transition temperature (Tg). PTT fibers can exhibit good fastness properties in spite of its low Tg. This study, which is Part II of a review study, gives information on the wet processing (pretreatment, dyeing, clearing, subsequent finishing treatments etc.) of PTT fiber and its effects on the fiber. This was accomplished through a broad literature survey including recent researches and developments in the area.
