Abstract: Topiramate is one of several antiepileptic drugs that are used to treat neuropsychiatric disorders. Topiramate was widely used in the treatment of bipolar disorder and other psychiatric disorders. But the treatment limiting adverse events [especially neuropsychiatric adverse events] limits its usage. Psychotic exacerbation due to topiramate was seen in only few cases but it was one of the most important adverse event related topiramate. We presented a case of topiramate induced psychosis in a bipolar disorder patient.
