Publisher: | Baycinar Medical Publishing | Abstract: | Pulmonary artery aneurysms are rare pathologies which may present with Marfan syndrome, Ehler- Danlos syndrome, or collagen tissue diseases. These aneurysms may originate from non-congenital causes, such as pulmonary arterial hypertension, tuberculosis, syphilis, candida, mucormycosis, Behçet's disease, giantcell arteritis, or post-trauma vasculitis. The presence of pulmonary artery aneurysm and those of the ascending aorta and aortic root along with a single coronary ostium abnormality accompanied by congenital keratoglobus is a very rare condition. Herein, we present a 33-year-old male with congenital keratoglobus who underwent surgery for a pulmonary artery aneurysm associated with aneurysms of the aorta and aortic root, as well as advanced aortic insufficiency. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/11499/9745 https://doi.org/10.5606/tgkdc.dergisi.2016.13219 |
