Publisher: | Edizioni Minerva Medica | Abstract: | BACKGROUND: This study has been performed in order to determine the level of correlation between endurance trainings done and some hematological values. METHODS: Thirty-nine students studying at the Sports Sciences and Technology Academy of the Pamukkale University took voluntarily part at the research. Blood Drawing and analysis where performed in the central laboratory of the Pamukkale University. In defining subjects' body fat levels, regional skinfold density was measured using the Skinfold Caliper, and the lengths were measured using the Holtain anthropometry set. In determining the endurance performance the Conconi test was applied. For analysis of the data the IBM SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) 21.0 package program was used. Identifying Statistics was performed in order to determine the data distribution. For the analysis of correlations between parametric data Pearson Correlation, and for the analyze of correlation between Nonparametric data Spearman Correlation analysis was performed. Results were submitted as average (X) and standard deviation (SS). P<0.05 value has been accepted as being significant. RESULTS: The correlation between performed endurance trainings and some blood parameters is significant. CONCLUSIONS: It was determined that the performed trainings are affecting the hematological values. © 2017 edizioni minerva medica. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/11499/10808 https://doi.org/10.23736/s0393-3660.17.03510-0 |
