Pamukkale Üniversitesi birinci sınıf öğrencilerinin sosyo-ekonomik profilleri

Abstract

Üniversite yaşamı insan hayatındaki en önemli süreçlerden biridir. Bunda insanın meslek sahibi olması için aldığı eğitimin yanı sıra kendi hayatını kurması öncesinde yarı bağımsız bir hayat sürdürmesinin, kendi arkadaş grubunu oluşturmasının ve kendisini hayata hazırlayacak bilgi, beceri ve kültürü elde etmesinin önemi büyüktür. Çünkü bu dönemde öğrenciler genel itibariyle ekonomik olarak ailelerine bağımlı olmakla beraber zamanını yönetme, arkadaş grubunu seçme/oluşturma, istediği sosyal ve kültürel aktiviteleri yapma bakımından özgürdürler ve belirli sorumluluklar almaktadırlar. Bu bağlamda bu çalışmanın amacı da Denizli Pamukkale Üniversitesinde okuyan öğrencilerin sosyo-kültürel özelliklerini tespit etmek, yaşam tarzları, bakış açıları, ekonomik durumları hakkında ışık tutacağı için önemlidir. Bu araştırma Survey Tipi araştırmadır. Survey yöntemi ile bir davranışın ya da bir tutumun bir toplumda ya da belli bir grupta görülme derecesi ve bunların yaş, cinsiyet, eğitim düzeyi, sosyal vb. etmenlerle nasıl bir ilişki içinde olduğu araştırılmaktadır. Araştırma betimleyici nitelikte olup, veriler anket yolu ile toplanacaktır. Çalışmanın teorik boyutunu oluşturmak için, konu ile ilgili literatür taraması yapılacak konunun uygulama boyutunda ise anket yoluyla elde edilen veriler değerlendirilecektir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak 45 sorudan oluşan anket kullanılmıştır. Anket 913 tane ağırlığı 1. Sınıf öğrencisine uygulanmıştır. Araştırma, adaylarının kişisel bilgilerine, sosyo-ekonomik durumlarına, eğitim süreçlerine ve alanı tercih nedenlerine ilişkin sorular vardır. Araştırma sonucunda üniversite öğrencilerinin sosyo- ekonomik profili üzerinde okudukları bölüm, çevre, yaş, cinsiyet , ekonomik durum , mezun olduğu lise türü, bölge üzerinde ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir.

University life is one of the most important process in human life. The university isn't only an education institution for having an occupation, but also it is a phase for each individual to make their own friend group, gain important life experiences and have cultural information. In their education process,unfortunately students have not economic freedom, they need the money(pocket money)their families will give them,On the other hand,they are good at planning the time,selecting friend group,moreover they are freedom and relax for taking part in various social and cultural activities they prefer. Therefore,they can take serious responsibilities for their next life. By the help of this work, we intend to reveal/determine the social and cultural ways,life styles, economic level of the students at Pamukkale University. In this process,Survey Type will be applied.This survey work will enligth us know about how often any behaviour or any attitude are met in a society and a certain age group.Furthermore,the work will reveal the role of education level,sex ,age and socio-economic factors on the common behaviours and attitude in a community Research is descriptive in nature, the data will be collected through a survey. To create the theoretical aspects of the study ,the literature will be made on the subject. In the practical dimension of the issue , the survey date will be evaluated. This survey contains 45 questions .The survey was applied in the first classes( the first classes consist of total 9131 students). In this survey,the questions are related to the personal information of candidates for the socio-economic status, the training process and their areas why they prefer. As a result of this work,sociol-economic level,education,sex,environment and community,etc. of the students affected their preference in department they study at university.
