Üniversite spor tesisleri kullanıcıları memnuniyet düzeyi: Pamukkale Üniversitesi Spor Merkezi örneği

Abstract

Bu tez çalışması, spor merkezlerinin hizmet kalitesini belirlemek için bu merkezleri kullanan bireylerin merkez hakkındaki görüşlerini tespit etmeyi amaçlamıştır. Bireylerin spor merkezi hakkındaki görüşleri belirlenirken aynı zamanda bireylerin cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim düzeyleri, mesleki statüleri, gelir düzeyleri, spor merkezini kullanma süreleri, kullanım tipleri, spor merkezini kullanma sıklıkları, spor merkezini tercih sebepleri ve spor merkezine gitme amaçları dikkate alınmıştır. Betimsel araştırma modeline göre araştırma desenlenmiştir. Nicel veri toplama aracı ile verilerin toplanıldığı bu araştırmada 600 katılımcı örneklemde yer almıştır. Çalışmaya katılan tüm kullanıcılara Pamukkale Üniversitesi Memnuniyet Anketi bire bir uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz kurallarına göre bir istatistik programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlara göre, spor merkezini kullanan bireylerin bu merkezden memnun olma düzeylerinin oldukça yüksek olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Spor merkezinin kullanan bireylerin sağlıklı bir yaşam sürdürme amacıyla merkeze gittikleri tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca spor merkezin temizliğinin, ortamın güvenli olmasının ve kullanılan araç gerecin kaliteli olmasının spor merkezinin tercih edilmesinde ön koşul olduğu görülmektedir. Bunların yanında spor merkezine giden bireylerin bu merkeze gitme amaçları arasında arkadaşlarla buluşma, iş stresinden kurtulma ve spor merkezine duyulan güven faktörlerinin olduğu görülmektedir.

This study aimed to find out the views of individuals using sport center about the service quality in sport centers. While gathering individuals' views on sport center, such factors as their gender, age, education level and professions, the level of income, the duration of using sport center, types of usage of sport center, frequencies of using sport center, the reason of preferring this sport center and the purpose of doing sport in this center were also considered. The study was designed in terms of descriptive research model. The data was collected from 600 participant by a quantitative data collection tool. Pamukkale University Satisfaction survey was applied to all the participants involved in the study. The data gathered was analyzed in terms of the rules of descriptive analysis by a statistical programme. The results indicated that the satisfaction level of individuals using the sport center was extremely high. It was found that individuals using sport center go to the center in order to enhance their health. It was also found that center's being hygienic and being safety along with the quality of equipments were main reasons to prefer this center. In addition to this, meeting friends, being away from the work stress, the reliance on the sport center were showed as the reasons for going to this center.
