Abstract: The Public Personnel State Examination (PPSE) has affected the lives of many teacher candidates. This study aimed to determine the views of teacher candidates studying at an education faculty on PPSE. In the study, survey method was used and the participants consisted of third and fourth year students (n=497) at different departments of Pamukkale University Education Faculty. In data gathering, "Questionnaire of Identifying Teacher Candidates' Views towards PPSE" developed by Atav and Sonmez (2013) was used. The results revealed no significant difference based on gender and having taken PPSE previously. Besides, the teacher candidates had an anxiety of getting employed. (C) 2015 The Authors.
