Halk eğitim merkezleri etkinliklerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, yönetici, öğretmen ve kursiyerlerinin görüşlerine göre halk eğitim merkezlerinin etkinlikleri incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla, Denizli’deki halk eğitim merkezleri yöneticilerine, öğretmenlerine ve kursiyerlerine anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni, Denizli ilindeki halk eğitim merkezlerinin yöneticileri, öğretmenleri ve kursiyerleridir. Örneklemi ise, Denizli merkezdeki halk eğitim merkezi ve dört ilçe (Sarayköy, Çivril, Honaz, Kale) halk eğitim merkezlerindeki yönetici, öğretmen ve kursiyerlerdir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen veriler, SPSS kullanılarak yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları kısaca şöyledir: Halk eğitim merkezlerinde kurs gören kursiyerler, halk eğitim merkezlerinin yeterince tanıtımının yapılmadığını, açılan kurslarda kullanılan araç-gereçlerin yetersiz kaldığını, halk eğitim merkezlerinin fiziki yapılarının yetersiz kaldığını, bazı kurs koşullarında (süre, konu…) sorunlar yaşandığını, bazı halk eğitim merkezlerine ulaşım sorununun bulunduğunu ve kurs tamamlandıktan sonra iş bulma olanaklarının sınırlı olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Halk eğitim merkezlerinde görev yapan öğretmenler, personel sayısının yetersiz olduğunu, binaların yetersiz olduğunu, açılacak kurslar için araç-gereçlerin yetersiz olduğunu, açılacak kursların tanıtımının yeterince yapılmadığını ve kurs sonrası iş bulma olanaklarının sınırlı olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Halk eğitim merkezlerinde görev yapan yöneticiler, görev yapan personel sayısının yetersiz olduğunu, halk eğitim merkezinin gereksinimlerini karşılayabilmek için bütçenin yetersiz olduğunu, binaların fiziksel yapısının yetersiz olduğunu belirtmişlerdir.

The aim of this research is to analyse the activities of public education centers according to the opinions of the administrators, teachers and trainees. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to the administrators, teachers and trainees of the public education centers in Denizli. The population of the study consists of the administrators, teachers and trainees of the public education centers in Denizli. The sample of the study consists of administrators, teachers and trainees in the public education center in Denizli and in the public education centers of the four districts (Sarayköy, Çivril, Honaz, Kale). The data obtained were analyzed by SPSS. The results of the research are as follows: Trainees attending courses in public education centers have stated that public education centers are not adequately promoted, the tools and equipment used in the opened courses are inadequate, the physical structures of public education centers are inadequate, there are some problems in some course conditions (time, subject…), there is a shortage of transportation to some public education centers and the opportunities for finding jobs after the end of the course are limited. The teachers working in public education centers have stated that the number of staff is insufficient, the buildings are insufficient, the tools and equipment are insufficient for the courses to be opened, the courses to be opened are not adequately promoted and there are limited opportunities for finding jobs after the courses. The managers working in public education centers have stated that the number of personnel working is insufficient, the allowances are insufficient to meet the needs of the public education centers, and the physical structure of the buildings is insufficient.
